As we move into a brand-new year, we thought we would take the opportunity to reflect on what 2023 brought us!
Our ISO inspection provided glowing results. We had zero non-compliance points and easily retained our ISO9001 accreditation. Outstanding!
We saw continued growth within the UK market, but our significant uplift was in demand from our European counterparts. We saw an impressive 120% increase in the number of bags supplied to the European market in 2023 compared to 2022. Fantastic!
Our bags got the travel bug, so we sent them further afield and saw them arrive safely in Tokyo, the USA, and Taiwan.
We said a sad farewell to Kayte, who ventured to pastures new; however, we are pleased to say she is flourishing in her role, and we wish her continued success.
We happily said hello to new faces, too! Bec, in the office, and Adam, in production, were warmly welcomed into our team. Sadly, Bec will be leaving us shortly to join a company much closer to her home, and we wish her all the best – good luck Bec! Watch this space for the introduction of her successor.
2023 did not pass without a few challenges! These exciting projects included working closely with a UK based customer to design and develop a new pallet style bag for lifting requirements at Dogger Bank Offshore Windfarm. The design proved to be a great success, with repeat orders placed!
We also repaired a local wedding venue’s marquee, which a fire had sadly destroyed. Much to the bride and groom’s delight, we completed the work in time for the big day!
From many positives, we also saw our team responding to the sad news of the sudden closure of the printing company we used for our label and logo requirements. However, we are happy to share that we have sourced a new local company, and our relationship with them is flourishing. Pinpoint can respond, rise, and overcome somewhat challenging times!
We had a successful exhibition at LiftEx 2023 in November, meeting many new faces. We left the exhibition with many potential new customers and look forward to supplying them with our bags.
As the year drew to a close, the team at Pinpoint were ready for a well-earned break. We all enjoyed the festivities of Christmas and are now back, recharged and raring to go! We look forward to continuing our success this year. 2024, we are ready for you!
